Myles Nicholson was charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses in the death of Stefan Shaw, 31, of Maple Shade, (Burlington County), according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.

On Tuesday, July 18, at approximately 4:07 p.m., Camden County police responded to 27th Street and Federal Street after hearing gunfire, MacAulay said.

Police found a vehicle that had been shot and a victim suffering from gunshot wounds, she said.

The victim, Shaw, was taken to Cooper University Hospital and later pronounced dead, the prosecutor said.

Later Tuesday, Nicholson was taken into custody by detectives in New Castle County, Delaware, she said. Nicholson was transported to a Delaware jail pending an extradition hearing to New Jersey.
